Update works great for me. Just under 3 mins to do a backup and about 4 mins to then apply the updates from 12070 to 12072. I can see the new flicker deduction menu in the camera options. Thanks MobileTechworld!

The Nokia section of the Marketplace also disappeared from the Lumia 900 yesterday. Yeah, something is going on and I suspect Tango will roll really soon and my 900 will sport a Nokia market logo.

They remove because the people can see that your battery have low capacity(poor lion battery) and that sw upadate only reduce the battery drain featuring some app closing...but the windows phone still have one high HW current drain...it means that is not one sw update that will repair this batterry issues...only one good hw development

Hello guys... 12072 update has surely resolved the volume bug.. But there is another bug related to volume its still not resolved... I donno whether I am the oly one experiencing this . If there is any one else facing same issue please let me know.. Here is the bug description " Connect Nokia ear peace or any headsets to your Lumia 800 and play zune music on your lumia 800 . reduce the volume to random volume under 20 or less .. make a call to your lumia 800 and receive the call in your lumia 800.. and check that you cannot adjust the call volume which ranges from 1 to 10. even though volume is reduced to zero, Volume remains loud this is one BUG and the 2nd BUG is after receiving the call cut the cal and once the music resumes playing . it will play with the maximum volume (30) even though volume is set to low (below 20 or so). Kindly share if any one of you are facing this issue,

Ah you are right. Only added option seems to be the video quality stuff (still image quaility is also a bit different now/better). Are you havin performance issues with the browser (IE9)?

You need to update your Language pack otherwise phone app or setting don't work.
Find it from the list in this article.

hi,

i had updated the firmware successfully in the evening but unable to use the dialer or able to view the list of called/incoming list. also the internet sharing has been disabled, its sayin "there's no data connection to share at the moment. check your settings and signal and try again"
pls help

I successfully updated ...… BUT there is no change at all..!!!!!!!!!!!!! same volume problem ..while listening to music USING NOKIA Handsfree or any other 3.5 mm ear phones or head set... if I receive any call volume increases to maximum and the volume key does not work shitty NOKIA I am very pissed off.. once the call is cut . music volume is increased to MAX .. have to unplug the NOKIA handsfree and plug it back to correct the issue .. what the hell are the testers and developers in NOKIA doing . how many USELESS updates..???? each shitty updates adding new bugs .. !!!???? I donno what much to say .HOPELESS

Is that a real phone in the picture?
I bought a new sim-free lumia 800 and I see a "carrier" info on my "about" page from settings. Is this ok? I start the phone with no sim card and see the same carrier info on the about page. Does this mean my phone is not sim-free?
Can someone please check this thing on their phone?

Got it....please do not put the file "
oemupdate.cab.pks_98ed59ede38f0bd78d153d984fcb96e119de2ccd" in "x86". It should be in the root folder as "tools" and "
WP7 Update Cab Sender"
